18th Bihar Vidhan Sabha Elections

The Bihar Legislative Assembly, also known as the Bihar Vidhan Sabha, comprises 243 constituencies. Each constituency elects one Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA), making a total of 243 elected representatives. This structure has been in place since the creation of the state of Jharkhand in 2000, resulting in a reduction from 324 to 243 seats in Bihar. The upcoming 2025 Bihar Legislative Assembly election is scheduled to be held by October–November 2025, where all 243 seats will be contested
