    In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Birendra Prasad Gupta of CPIMLL won in this constituency beating Dilip Varma of IND by a margin of 2302 votes which was 1.35% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Khurshid Urf Firoj Ahmad of JDU was the winner in this seat beating Dilip Varma of BJP by a margin of 2835 votes which was 1.76% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Dilip Varma of IND won this seat defeating Khurshid Urf Firoj Ahamad of JDU by a margin of 8779 votes which was 7.03% of the total votes polled for the seat.
