    Devikulam Assembly constituency comprises the following areas of Idukki district in the Cochin region of Kerala: Adimali, Kanthalloor, Mankulam, Marayoor, Munnar, Pallivasal, Vattavada and Vellathooval Panchayats in Devikulam taluk and Bisonvalley and Chinnakanal Panchayat in Udumbanchola Taluk.

    This constituency covers an approximate area of 1269 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Devikulam is: 10°07'56.3"N 77°04'50.9"E.

    In the 2021 Kerala Assembly elections, Adv A Raja of CPIM won in this constituency beating D Kumar of INC by a margin of 7848 votes which was 6.83% of the total votes cast. In 2016, S Rajendran of CPIM was the winner in this seat beating A K Mony of INC by a margin of 5782 votes which was 4.93% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2011 Assembly elections, S. Rajendran of CPIM won this seat defeating A.K.Moni of INC by a margin of 4078 votes which was 3.81% of the total votes polled for the seat.
