Palit Begia and Rajarampur Ghoraikhetra GPs of CDB Kaliganj

This constituency covers an approximate area of 291 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Nakashipara is: 23°35'52.4"N 88°22'22.4"E.

In the 2021 West Bengal Assembly elections, Kallol Khan of TMC won in this constituency beating Santanu Dey of BJP by a margin of 21271 votes which was 10.21% of the total votes cast. In 2016, Kallol Khan of TMC was the winner in this seat beating Tanmay Ganguli of CPIM by a margin of 6250 votes which was 3.31% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2011 Assembly elections, Kallol Khan of TMC won this seat defeating Gayatri Sardar of CPIM by a margin of 16474 votes which was 10.06% of the total votes polled for the seat.
