In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Mohd. Zama Khan of BSP won in this constituency beating Brij Kishor Bind of BJP by a margin of 24294 votes which was 11.79% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Brij Kishor Bind of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Mohammad Zama Khan of BSP by a margin of 671 votes which was 0.38% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Brij Kishor Vind of BJP won this seat defeating Dr. Ajay Alok of BSP by a margin of 13580 votes which was 9.56% of the total votes polled for the seat.
