    In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Bhagirathi Devi of BJP won in this constituency beating Rajesh Ram of INC by a margin of 15796 votes which was 8.29% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Bhagirathi Devi of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Purnmasi Ram of INC by a margin of 17988 votes which was 10.52% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Bhagirathi Devi of BJP won this seat defeating Naresh Ram of INC by a margin of 29782 votes which was 23.78% of the total votes polled for the seat.
