This constituency covers an approximate area of 169 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Kuttiadi is: 11°37'03.0"N 75°40'32.2"E.

According to data released by the Election Commission of India, In 2021, this seat registered a turnout of 81.3%, while it was 85.49% in 2016, and 87.73% in 2011.

In the 2021 Kerala Assembly elections, K P Kunhammed Kutti Master of CPIM won in this constituency beating Parakkal Abdulla of IUML by a margin of 333 votes which was 0.2% of the total votes cast. In 2016, Parakkal Abdulla of IUML was the winner in this seat beating K.K. Lathika of CPIM by a margin of 1157 votes which was 0.73% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2011 Assembly elections, K.K.Lathika of CPIM won this seat defeating Soopi Narikkatteri of MUL by a margin of 6972 votes which was 4.89% of the total votes polled for the seat.

In the 2021 Kerala Assembly elections, K P Kunhammed Kutti Master of CPIM had a vote share of 47.29% in this seat. In the 2016 Assembly elections, Parakkal Abdulla of IUML got a vote share of 45.5% , In the 2011 Assembly elections, K.K.Lathika of CPIM got a vote share of 49.32% in Kuttiadi.
