Victory margin
In the 2021 Kerala Assembly elections, V Abdurahiman of NSC won in this constituency beating P K Firos of IUML by a margin of 985 votes which was 0.65% of the total votes cast. In 2016, V Abdurahiman of NSC was the winner in this seat beating Abdurahiman Randathani of IUML by a margin of 4918 votes which was 3.49% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2011 Assembly elections, Abdurahiman Randathani of MUL won this seat defeating E.Jayan of CPIM by a margin of 9433 votes which was 9.06% of the total votes polled for the seat.
