Victory margin
In the 2021 Puducherry Assembly elections, Pr Siva of IND won in this constituency beating S Rajasekaran of BJP by a margin of 1380 votes which was 5.17% of the total votes cast. In 2016, R. Kamalakkannan of INC was the winner in this seat beating P. R. Siva @ Sivasakthi of AINRC by a margin of 2875 votes which was 11.23% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2011 Assembly elections, P.R. Siva of AINRC won this seat defeating R. Kamalakannan of INC by a margin of 840 votes which was 3.64% of the total votes polled for the seat.
