Victory margin
In the 2021 West Bengal Assembly elections, Joyel Murmu of BJP won in this constituency beating Prodip Baskey of TMC by a margin of 19517 votes which was 9.97% of the total votes cast. In 2016, Khagen Murmu of CPIM was the winner in this seat beating Amal Kisku of TMC by a margin of 2512 votes which was 1.36% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2011 Assembly elections, Khageneral Murmu of CPIM won this seat defeating Mohan Tudu of TMC by a margin of 2258 votes which was 1.43% of the total votes polled for the seat.
