Dighal Kandi, Nandanpur, Narayanpur-I and Narayanpur-II GPs of CDB Karimpur-II

This constituency covers an approximate area of 316 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Tehatta is: 23°49'58.8"N 88°32'31.2"E.

In the 2021 West Bengal Assembly elections, Tapas Kumar Saha of TMC won in this constituency beating Ashutosh Paul of BJP by a margin of 6915 votes which was 3.2% of the total votes cast. In 2016, Dutta Gouri Sankar of TMC was the winner in this seat beating Ranjit Kumar Mandal of CPIM by a margin of 17396 votes which was 8.74% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2011 Assembly elections, Ranjit Kumar Mandal of CPIM won this seat defeating Tapas Kumar Saha of IND by a margin of 19197 votes which was 10.89% of the total votes polled for the seat.
